How it works

  1. Tick the letters you have done

Print the A to Z checklist and mark each box honestly. Most owners finish a first pass in under an hour and find four to eight empty letters.

  2. Rank the empty boxes

Some gaps are risks (an ad account in a past employee's name), others are lost sales (no reviews). Put the risks first, then the money.

  3. Close the hard ones with help

Bring your marked-up list and we will work through the red letters together. Call, text or email; you'll talk to a senior strategist.

Services

  • A to Z business review

Ali works through all 26 letters with you and hands back a marked-up checklist: green, amber or red, with the red items ranked.

  • Accounts and ownership recovery

Get your domain, website, Google profile, ad accounts and email back into the owner's name, with a written key list.

  • Growth letters: G, M, R, S and W

Fix the five marketing letters that decide whether customers find you, trust you and reach you.

  • Letter-a-month advisory

A standing monthly session that closes one or two checklist letters at a time, so the binder stays current.

Help with the letters you cannot close alone

Biza.ca is a checklist hub for Canadian small businesses, built on one simple idea: every job that keeps a business legal, findable and profitable can be filed under a letter from A to Z. A is for the accounts you own. B is for your business number. G is for your Google profile, R for reviews, U for unsubscribe and consent, Z for a zero-based review of what you spend. Tick the boxes, find the gaps, close them in order.

Biza.ca is Canadian, with its headquarters in Vancouver, British Columbia, and belongs to the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies. Ali Sedighi, MBA, leads the work himself. The checklist is free; paid help is there when a letter needs more than an afternoon.

Why an alphabet beats a to-do list

Because an alphabet is finished when it is finished, and a to-do list never is. Owners rarely fail at setup because a task is hard. They fail because the tasks live in six places: an accountant's email, a sticky note, a registrar's renewal notice, a half-read government page. Twenty-six fixed letters give every task one home and make the gaps visible.

The format also makes conversations shorter. When an owner tells us "D and E are red, and I'm not sure about P," we know within a minute what is at stake: the domain and email may not be under their control, and the privacy policy may be missing. No discovery workshop needed.

Here is a quick test you can do now:

  • ☐ I know which company my domain is registered with, and the login is in my name.
  • ☐ My Google Business Profile lists me (not a past web designer) as the primary owner.
  • ☐ I could produce my business number and provincial registration within five minutes.
  • ☐ Every person on my email list asked to be there, and I can show when.

If you ticked fewer than three, the full A to Z checklist will pay for the hour it takes.

The 26 letters at a glance

The letters run from setup risks at the front to growth and review at the back. You do not have to work strictly in order, but the early letters protect everything after them.

Letters Theme Examples
A to F Foundations Accounts you own, business number, cash and banking, domain, email, filing calendar
G to M Getting found and staying legal Google profile, hiring basics, insurance, job records, key numbers, licences, measurement
N to T Name, offer and trust Name checks, your offer, privacy, quick response, reviews, search, tools
U to Z Consent, contracts and review Unsubscribe and consent, vendors, website, the extra key, year-end, zero-based review

Each letter has three to six tick boxes written as plain statements. "☐ A second person can log in to the bank if I am in hospital" is the kind of line you will find. The guides explain the letters that cause the most trouble, starting with the accounts you own.

Worked example: what one empty letter costs

An empty letter is not an abstract risk; it usually has a price you can estimate. Take Q, quick response. Say your business gets 40 calls and texts a month from new customers, you answer 60% of them live, and one in four answered inquiries becomes a sale worth $900 on average.

  • Today: 40 × 60% × 25% = 6 sales, or $5,400 a month.
  • With a simple call-back rule that lifts the answer rate to 85%: 40 × 85% × 25% = 8.5 sales, or about $7,650.

That is roughly $2,250 a month from one letter, with no extra advertising. Your numbers will differ, which is the point: K, key numbers, is the letter that lets you do this sum for your own business.

What we do when you want help

We help with the letters that need a second person, and leave the rest to you. Our services are built around the checklist:

Proof matters, so we only cite real numbers. Among results from our HVAC work, GasBoilers.ca earned a 5.0★ rating from 76+ Google reviews, and BCWide.ca saw 3× leads in 90 days. More on our results page.

Coverage: all of Canada, letter by letter

The alphabet is national, but letters B, H, L and P change by province. Registration, workers' compensation, consumer protection and language rules differ between, say, Quebec and Alberta. Our areas pages show which provincial bodies sit behind each letter, from British Columbia to the territories, with links to the official pages we checked.

We meet in person or by video call, and work by phone, text and email, so where you are does not change the service.

What this site will not do

We will not tell you how to file your taxes or what your contracts should say. Where a letter touches the CRA, a provincial registry, an employment standards office or an insurer, we link the official source and tell you who to ask. What we will do is make sure the question gets asked, in the right order, and that the marketing letters are done properly.

Prices start at $175 an hour for consulting, and the first 30-minute consultation is free. See pricing for project and retainer ranges, read the FAQ, or contact us with your marked-up list.

Frequently asked questions

What is Biza.ca?

Biza.ca is a checklist-led business consulting brand from Vancouver, BC, belonging to the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group and led by Ali Sedighi, MBA. It organises the work of setting up and growing a small business into an A to Z checklist, and offers paid help with the letters owners find hardest.

Is the checklist free?

Yes. The full A to Z checklist and the guides behind it are free to read and print. You only pay if you hire us for a review, a recovery project or ongoing advisory.

Do you give legal, tax or accounting advice?

No. Where a letter touches tax, registration, employment or insurance, we point you to the official government page and suggest you confirm the details with an accountant, lawyer or licensed broker. Our work is business and marketing consulting.

Which letter should I start with?

Start with A, the accounts you own. If your domain, website or Google profile sits in someone else's name, every other improvement is built on ground you do not control.

Do you only work with one industry?

No. The checklist fits shops, studios, clinics, trades, professional practices and online sellers. Any case study we quote is a result from our HVAC work, since heating is where Ali's published, checkable record is deepest.

How do I reach you?

Call or text (604) 632-4959, or email Ali@Sedighi.ca. Tell us which letters are empty on your list and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
